My favorite fantasy books are epic or historical fantasy (my all time favorite being The Lions of Al-Rassan by Guy Gavriel Kay). I am fascinated by other world religions, so if your story contains a new deity or religious system, chances are I’d love to see it. I’m a huge werewolf, vampire, faery, mage, portal, mind-link fan. I’m also a sucker for an intricate back story. I wouldn’t call myself anti-zombie per se but I’ve yet to read a zombie novel I’ve liked.
